July

The 4th of July found us in Washington DC at Bowling AFB.  It was a mostly soggy day, but the sun peeked through the clouds a bit just in time for sunset over the Potomac River.  Due to VERY low clouds, most of the fireworks were IN the clouds and out of our view.  We may go again next year and hope for clearer skies.

The home fireworks are always a big hit.

Mike and I snuck down to DC for a quick date night.  We walked around the Jefferson Monument and over to the Mall.  Then we grabbed a quick bite to eat at District Taco before heading home to pick up the kids.

Judith had Harlee and Brooklee over for a couple of hours one day. Thank goodness for the Kona Ice truck!

Dad took the boys for a long bike ride one afternoon.

Jonas started tackle football.  He didn't love it at first, but once the games started he had a lot of fun!

Judith lost her first tooth!  The was trying to open a package of something with her teeth at the end of Vacation Bible School one day and out it came!

Another quick evening out for Mike and I in Annapolis.

Ezra went to school 4 days a week in July.  In August he had another few weeks off until school started.
