Disney World: Magic Kingdom

We spent the last two days at the Magic Kingdom.
Last time we went to Disney World 3 year old Judith was in love with Dumbo.  This time around, it didn't seem to have lost its appeal even though she was tall enough to ride most everything.

We stopped for a picnic lunch near Rapunzel's tower.

It's a small world after all...

Tom Sawyer Island.  We had to leave earlier than we had hoped because of a thunderstorm in the area.

Mike to Jonas to Space Mountain and Ezra, Judith and I ducked into Micky's Philharmagic.  As luck would have it, the bottom dropped out and it poured for exactly the length of time we were in the show.   When we came out, we jumped on the carousel because there was not much of a line.

We also ran over the Story Time with Belle where Ezra was chosen the play the Beast and Judith played the part of Maurice.  Ezra was really the star of the show with a menacing growl and some smooth dance moves with Belle.  He did awesome!

Then we met up with Mike and Jonas.  We cooled off with some ice cream before we got in line for Pirates of the Caribbean.

After the ride, the kids jumped into this pirate show.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was a big hit just like last time...

...as well as Splash Mountain.

Twilight at the castle.

Astro Orbiter.

Meeting Tink.

Judith promised Grandpa that she'd say "hi" to Goofy for him.

Obligatory Castle pic.

We got to watch one of the street parades as we ate lunch.

I was slightly improved over last time I drove.

Tomorrow Land.

Jungle Cruise.

 Splash Mountain...again.

Minnie dressed up as Elsa. Jealous much?

 Our last night.

Disney World: EPCOT

On day 2 we explore EPCOT.  They were in the midst of the annual Flower and Garden Festival so it was even more beautiful than usual!

They had lots of these Disney character topiaries around.

They had special playground areas set up specifically for the festival.  Some cast members told me that after the festival is over these playsets are donated to deserving organizations.  This playground was Monster's University themed.  Can you see Sully and Mike in the background?

We enjoyed another character lunch at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

When we went to EPCOT 2 years ago, we completely skipped the World Showcase so that was one of the main goals for this time around.  We still only saw about 3/4 of it.  Here, Jonas and Judith get their fans signed in Morocco.

Ezra really wanted to check out the show called "The American Adventure".  Judith ended up falling asleep but Ezra really enjoyed it.

Our last picture of the night.

Walt Disney World: Hollywood Studios

Our Disney World vacation began with a stop near Jacksonville, Florida to hang out with cousins!

We headed to Orlando and checked into our room at Shades of Green.  The next morning we went to Downtown Disney to walk around and meet Milda and Allen for lunch.

After lunch we went back to the hotel to relax at the pool and take it easy before 4 days of craziness began in earnest.

Here we are at the entrance to Hollywood Studios ready to start our day!

The boys headed off to Star Tours and Judith and I went to the Voyage of the Little Mermaid.  We were a little early so we hopped in line to meet Buzz and Woody, but sadly we had to get out of line to make it back to Little Mermaid before we lost our FastPass.

Outside the Disney Junior show, we met Jake and Sophia.

After the Disney Junior show we went to Hollywood and Vine for our character lunch.

We missed Honey, I Shrunk the Kids last time, so Ezra wanted to make sure we saw it this time (having now seen the movie).

Jonas had already ridden Tower of Terror once with Mike, but he wanted to ride it again with me and Judith.

However, when we got up there, he said the ride made his tummy hurt too much and decided not to ride.  Mike and Ezra were riding something else, so I had to send Jonas down with a cast member.  Judith rode like a champ and when the doors opened at the bottom of the ride, there was Jonas ushering everyone toward the exit in full cast member costume!

Judith and I REALLY enjoyed the Frozen Sing-a-Long!

This was the real carriage and glass slipper from the recently released Cinderella movie.

Ezra thought this city-scape was so cool.

Fantasmic was incredible!
