A Beautiful Day in Germany

Mike had Friday off from work and for the first time in quite a while, he wasn't up to his eyeballs in school work. So we had a fun filled family day.

First, it was off to the park to play. The occupational therapist says that parks are great for developing both gross and fine motor skills. And of course, what kid doesn't love to play at the park?

Then we had some pizza.

Then we went to a field near our house to fly this little airplane kite Mike brought home for the kids a while ago. I think Ezra really liked it, but Jonas mostly just rolled around in the grass.

Eventually, the airplane got stepped on and one of the streamers got pulled off. So then...we went to another park.

We played for a bit, and swung on the swings. Then it was time for a nap.

After a short nap, it was time to go to the circus. It was no Barnum Bros., but not bad by European standards. At the intermission, the kids got to feed the camels and take a look at the animals.

I'm 38 weeks pregnant. Officially full term. She can come any time...

Judith left. Jonas right.
