These are a few more pictures from the ladies retreat last weekend. We stopped in Baden-Baden on the way down. It's kind of a resort town. It boasts thermal spas, and a casino. Our destination was the Trinkhalle. "Built between 1839 and 1842, this 300-feet-long pump room features fourteen frescoes depicting legends about Baden-Baden. Inside the Trinkhalle you can sample fresh water from the Friedrichsquelle." I was thinking it would be cold and tasteless, but I guess if I had put more thought into it, I would have realized that it was warm and salty. I'm not sure what the white, columned building is. We parked in the parking garage below it.

And this, this is our new (used) car. It's a 1988 Austin Mini. Mike flew to London to get it. He boarded a ferry to Calais, France and drove through Belgium and Luxeumburg to bring it back to our house. It's pink :) --it looked more red in the picture online. It's not in mint condition by any means, but Mike is looking forward to fixing it up a bit.

Here's some more back yard shots. It's been sunny with highs in the upper 60s for about 4 or 5 days. It's been awesome!! Although, I fear each day that the rain will return.

Ezra got a haircut. He always looks like such a big boy afterwards.

Our oldest was born in Germany (13 years ago! *sniff*) and one of his first babblings at about 10 months was "baden-baden", over and over (and over) again. We liked to laugh and say it was proof he was picking up the local language.

Nice car! Definitely goes with the cowboy hat;)
