This is how Ezra insists on using his spoon. I put food on the spoon and put it in his mouth the right way. He gets the food off (usually) and then turns the spoon around to chew on the handle. Here, he is enjoying some cottage cheese.
There have 2 major developments this week. The first is that Ezra is sleeping through the night consistently. Last night he slept 12 hours straight, and I had to wake him up at 8 am. Hopefully, he'll be a sleeper like his Mom.
The second awesome thing is that he puts himself to sleep on his own. Of course, if I want to rock him to sleep or whatever, he'll let me. But when I can tell he's good and sleepy, I can put him in his crib and he falls asleep on his own. I might have to go in there a couple of time and lay him back down and cover him up, but after that, he's out. Yea!

Ezra slept so long last night. He slept from around 9 pm until 7:30 with out waking up. He's not consistently sleeping through the night but he has several times.
Another thing I'm starting to notice is that he's beginning to sit down from the standing position rather than fall down. Previously, when he stood up at his little play table, he would just fall down on his butt. Now, he takes it slowly and bends his knees in a focused effort to sit down or pick something up off the floor.
Sorry, no pics to go with this brief update...

Our Big Boy!
Ezra is borrowing a play table from our friend Elisa, and he loves it! He stands for a LONG time when he plays with it. He can transfer from table to couch and back. He can also make his way down the length of the couch.
I have some toys in a basket on the bottom shelf of the changing table. One day he dumped out all the toys and eventually turned the basket over. Then he started to discover that if he stood on the basket, he could reach even higher on the changing table. I stopped him before he got more than one foot up on it though.
We're completely done with breastfeeding. He did really well with weaning. I think it was harder on me than it was for him.
He's 18 lbs now and still about 27 inches.
