April started with a trip to the emergency room. Ezra was riding behind me on a bike and his foot got smashed in between the pedal and the frame. There was so break though!
Thank the good Lord for that because the very next day we were headed to Ocean City, Maryland for the first time! The kids loved crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Annapolis.
Our neighbors, Jeff and Sue took us around to some of their favorite places. We enjoyed the sunset at a restaurant over-looking the back bay.
It was bit chilly, but not too much for a morning stroll along the beach!
On the Ocean City Boardwalk.
This was a beautiful sand sculpture commissioned by a local church to celebrate Easter in just a few days.
The kiddos in a giant tire on the Boardwalk.
This was at an awesome restaurant/concert venue called Seacrets. Notice how Jonas and Judith are pointing opposite directions. Yeah, that's probably what would happen if they were on a real boat together.
Feel the Rhythm. Feel the Rhyme. Get on up. It's Bobsled time...COOL RUNNINGS!!!
Back home, dying eggs for Easter with our neighbor, Kanny (something he'd never done before since he's Vietnamese).
Checking out their baskets on Easter morning.
Our neighbor Jim, wanted to invite the kids over for a egg hunt in his backyard.
The day after Easter, we went to "Bunnyland" at Butler's Orchard.
Who doesn't love a Spring-time hay ride?
...And a hay pit?
Mike took Judith to Daddy/Daughter Date Night at Chick-Fil-A.
Mike and the kids began planting seeds for the garden.
Jonas started baseball. He played for the Athletics this year at GORC.
Judith had her 2nd field trip to The Maryland Zoo. It was also a special trip because it was on her birthday! Mike and I went with her and brought cupcakes to share with her friends.
The following weekend we had her official birthday party with her silly friends, Harlee and Brooklee Wood.
Our pretty 5 year old!
