Some Snow

Mike recently won a bunch of awards. Actually, they were all kind of for the same thing, but he kept "competing" at the next level and wining. He won Non-commisioned Officer of the Quarter. He was the winner for the squadron, the group, and the wing. We're very proud!

This winter, Germany (like most of the US) recieved much more snow than usual. Jonas with his teddy bear stuffed into his jacket.

Ezra trudging through the backyard.

The boys welcoming Daddy home from his trip to Spain. Mike brought Ezra some cars and Jonas a puzzle.

Story time on the couch.

Silly boys.

More snowy pictures of the backyard.

Our good friends Travis and Susan invited us out one afternoon to go sledding. They live about 15 min from us, but it's up in the hills and at a higher elevation. So they had more snow and lots of good sledding places. It was lots of fun, but we headed home (walking distance) about 10-15 min too late and got caught in a snow storm that dumped a several inches in just an hour or two. This is their Great Dane, Bella. The boys love her!

The snow storm. Yes, Susan was pulling Jonas and I on the sled. Travis had carried Ezra back through a short cut.

Ezra and me at the bottom of the hill after our run.

Ezra and I before our run.

Jonas and Travis.

Ezra and Jonas. Notice the dark sky in the top right? That was the edge of the storm that continued to get darker and closer.

Travis pulling the boys through town to get to the hills.

It was lots of fun, but I'd forgotten how much work sledding is. You have to climb up those hills if you want to slide down again. Thank goodness for Travis and Susan. They did most of the work with the boys. I just had to concentrate on getting MYSELF and the baby up the hills. :)
