Easter

On Saturday before Easter we went to a local park and enjoyed a free Easter egg hunt.

And they're off!

Post hunt.

I love that they love each other (at least in public...)

What's an Easter egg hunt without face painting?  Jonas got an "Easter" baseball.  :)

Free hot dog lunch!

This is Jonas' favorite park because of this "giant" slide.

Ezra.  :)

At the zoo.  I think they were pretending they had lassos.

Dying Easter eggs.

Easter morning goodies.

Putting together an Easter puzzle and Easter Legos.

Grandpa and Judith at the Easter Sunday church service.

We headed to our "old" house (that's empty but hasn't been closed on yet) for a bigger hunt than we could manage in our apartment.

Nana and silly Judith.

Judith was our star hunter this year.  Look at all those eggs!

The boys eventually decided they would work together.  Aww.

Spring Break

It's been a while since I blogged.  Most of March was a whilwind of de-cluttering/staging to sell our house,  listing our house, having a showing the next day, getting an offer the day after that, going under contract, moving minimal essentials to a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment, getting packed out of our house, cleaning the house, and closing next week.  Whew!  The buyers wanted to take possession of the ASAP.  Although it was not ideal for us to move to a small apartment for our last 3 months in Colorado, we could not afford to pass up their offer so, move we did.

For Sping Break, Mom and Dad came up to enjoy the week with us.

One day we walked around Cripple Creek but I forgot my camera so....

We headed to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.  Beautiful.  While some of the roads were closed for the winter, there was still quite a bit to take in from the roads that were open.

The boys enjoyed seeing the elk (even though they had shed their antlers).  A big herd was laying down in the grass in the valley (behind the log a ways).

Jonas poses with some elk that were much closer.

A coyote crossed the road as we were heading out of Estes Park.

We ate at a place in Estes Park near the river.

We had a good time taking in some of Colorado's treasures before we have to leave in a few months.  :(
