Just before Christmas, we took a very chilly trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo to observe the "Electric Safari". It was actually pretty fun despite the cold weather.
The tiger was out on the prowl and even went for an icy swim while we were watching.
Jonas petting a skunk.
We had to wait a ridiculously long time to see Santa. Every time we talked one kid into bailing on the idea, the other two were dead set on staying. Then, we'd finally convince the others that the wait was too long and the original kid would have changed his mind. Ugh. We had our picture taken with Mrs. Claus while we waited. At least it was free...
I asked someone to take our picture at the Candlelight service on Christmas Eve, only to realize I had forgotten to put the SD card in. So these are a couple of home shots after the service.
Jonas made some "magic reindeer food" at his preschool Christmas party so he and Judith were sure to sprinkle (dump, in Judith's case) it on the lawn on Christmas Eve.
Mike and the kids roasting marshmallows in the fireplace. (They were saying "marshmallows!" instead of "cheese" for the picture.)
...And then the snow began to fall. Such a wonderful thing to have happen for our last Christmas in Colorado! It couldn't have been more perfect. Mike was daring the kids to run outside barefoot. :)
Enjoying some Happy Birthday Jesus cupcakes.
Not all of the video is particularly enthralling, but there are some cute moments. Bear with the first one for a few seconds. We were coming downstairs in the dark and then I turned the lights on.
Judith playing with her princess doll house.
If there's anything better than 2 inches of snow, it's 2 inches of snow on a trampoline! Jonas and Judith were making snow angels.
Ezra and his Angry Birds Star Wars puzzle.
Jonas and Judith enjoying the snow.
Nana and Grandpa arrived a couple of days after Christmas bringing more gifts of course.

Nana made Judith a tutu.
Though it was too cold to do much outside, we did enjoy a visit to the Focus on the Family Welcome Center where Ezra went down the 3 story slide and we walked through the wardrobe into Narnia.
It was a wonderful Christmas! So sad it's our last one in Colorado though. I packed up all our Christmas decor nice and tight as we won't be seeing it again until Christmas 2014 in where ever our new home shall be.
